I am a little embarrassed to say that I saw the movie before reading the book. But I'm even more ashamed to have seen the movie just to experience the warmth that Logan Lerman is. But we go! Somebody tell me that this is not hot: Really. What did I tell you? (I guess you probably will not read the rest of the review and just look at this gif, but it's not a reason why I do not like my comment !: D) But I really have to thank Logan. I really believe it Because without your credible disbelief I am a little embarrassed to say that I saw the movie before reading the book. I really believe it Because without its incomparable unbelievable charm, I would not have seen the movie, and I would never have read the genius of The Lightning Thief. Yes, I loved the book. I was always interested in Greek mythology and thought that Rick Riordan's opinion was unique and different from everything I read before. I loved Camp- Halfblood. Well, sure it seemed better than the budget summer camps I've been to. RR was seriously commissioned to write the camp. I could imagine everything vividly and I like to think that I know the camp from back to front. However, the cabins would have to be my favorite feature of the camp. If only they were like that in the camps I've been to. Percy. What can I say? The guy has incredible underwater powers, he's kick-ass and he's a demigod. He is super loyal to his friends and family, he is brave and has the appearance (this is the part when you look at Logan Lerman's GIF again; D). And he can make me laugh. Come on. You have to give a credit to a guy who makes you laugh. In short, the boy is the complete package. Another thing that I loved were the other characters. Especially Annabeth, who looks like Cinderella in Percy's words (am I right? I do not have the book with me, I'm sorry, stupid fines from the library). And I hope something develops between her and Percy, if you know what I mean ... Then, yes. I loved the book, it was exciting, fast and humorous. Just one thing, I'm kind of angry because they did not have booths in the movie. O Clarisse. Or the Oracle Although it is not RR's fault. I just had to take it out. ...Plus
